Internet Options For Rural Areas
When you live in a City, rural or country area you can access the National Broadband Network (NBN) in one of 3 ways.
Fixed Line NBN
This is where you can connect to the internet using the underground cables on the NBN system. In some areas we can even use your old phone line to connect to the NBN.
Wireless NBN
If you fall outside of the area of NBN cabling you can connect to the internet wirelessly. An antenna is used to pick up the signal from the nearest NBN Tower and transmit broadband directly to your home.
Satellite NBN
If you live in an area outside of the wireless NBN, you will need a satellite connection to access the internet. An internet signal will be beamed via satellite to a satellite dish installed at your home or business.
